Terms of Use
Last updated 4 July 2026
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Unfreeze website and mobile app (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. What Unfreeze does
Unfreeze is an escalation-letter drafting tool. Based on the details you provide, it generates five formal letters addressed to your bank, the National Cybercrime Reporting Portal, the RBI regional office, the relevant exchange, and the applicable nodal authority. You review, sign, and send these letters yourself, typically from your own email account.
2. Not legal advice
Unfreeze is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. The letters we generate are templates based on the information you supply and general escalation practice — they are not a substitute for advice from a qualified advocate. We do not guarantee that your account will be unfrozen or that any authority will act on your letters.
3. Your account
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and submitting a case. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Plans, case limits, and payment
Access to case submission is sold as one-time plans (Basic, Standard, Premium), each tied to a declared stuck-amount range and a maximum number of cases. Prices are shown in the app before purchase and are processed securely through Razorpay. Purchasing a plan does not guarantee any particular outcome for your case — see our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent case information.
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or make bad-faith complaints against any bank, exchange, or individual.
- Attempt to interfere with, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Service.
- Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law.
6. Intellectual property
The Unfreeze name, letter templates, app, and website are our property or that of our licensors. You may use generated letters for your own case; you may not resell or redistribute our templates or software.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unfreeze and its operators are not liable for any decision made by a bank, exchange, or government authority in response to letters generated through the Service, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the Service. See our Disclaimer for details.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service for any account that violates these Terms. You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
